Student Renewal

Business/ Academics partner must renew the sponsored student’s Residence Visa and Student Identity card sixty (60) days prior to Residence Permit expiry.


Requirements

The following documents are required for submission at GSO’s Business Counter:


  • “Application for Student” duly filled and signed by authorized signatory and approved by Dubai  Knowledge Village Management (DKV)/ Dubai International Academic City (DIAC)
  • Original passport.
  • Two (2) passport photocopies of applicant including visa page
  • Five (5) color photographs with white background, size 4.3cm x 5.5cm


  • Original ID Card


  • The applicant’s passport must have a validity of at least six (6) months.


 


Important!


    • Medical test appointment will be arranged by GSO for student above eighteen after Residence Renewal documents submission. If the sponsored student is medically unfit, GSO will notify its Free Zone client for immediate repatriation of the student.
  • If the applicant chooses to approach Gov. Clinics for medical test without GSO interface, he/she must submit the Medical Fitness Certificate along with the Residence Visa Stamping documents.
  • The Residence Visa is valid for one (1) year commencing from Residence Visa Stamping date.
