Non Sponsored ID Card
A Permanent ID/Access Pass is issued to a non- sponsored employee who is employed by the Free Zone company. Such employee must be either sponsored by the parent company of the Business Partner operating in the Free Zone or female employees sponsored by parents or spouse.
Non-sponsored ID/Access Pass– New
Requirements
The following documents are required for submission at GSO’s Business Counter:
- “Application for Non Sponsored ID” duly filled and signed by authorized signatory
- One (1) passport copy of applicant including visa page
- One (1) passport photocopy of the sponsor including visa page (if applicant is sponsored by parent or spouse).
- Two (2) color photographs with white background, size 4.3cm x 5.5cm
- Employment Contract
- A Trade License photocopy (of the parent company).
- A Trade License photocopy (of the employee’s company).
Non-Sponsored ID/Access Pass- Renewal
If the non-sponsored employee remains employed in the Free Zone, the Permanent ID/Access Pass must be renewed prior to its expiry date.
Requirements
- “Application for Non Sponsored ID” duly filled and signed by authorized signatory
- One (1) passport copy of applicant including visa page
- One (1) passport photocopy of the sponsor including visa page (if applicant is sponsored by parent or spouse).
- Two (2) color photographs with white background, size 4.3cm x 5.5cm
- A Trade License photocopy (of the parent company).
- The amended contract, hence there are any changes in the initial contract.
Non-Sponsored ID/Access Pass- Lost
Requirements
To issue a replacement for Non Sponsor ID/Access Pass, the following is required for submission at GSO’s Business Counter:
- “Application for Non Sponsored ID” duly filled and signed by authorized signatory
- One (1) passport copy of applicant including visa page
- One (1) color photographs with white background, size 4.3cm x 5.5cm

Important!
- The Permanent ID/Access Pass is valid for one (1) year commencing from date of issue.
- Upon cessation of employment in the Free Zone, the Permanent ID/Access Pass must be returned to GSO for cancellation.
