Housemaid Package

GSO assists the sponsored employee to obtain a Housemaid Visa if his/her salary is in line with Immigration requirements.


To obtain a Housemaid Visa, the minimum monthly salary requirement is AED 6,000/- .


Stage 1: Entry Permit

Requirements
The following documents are required for submission at GSO’s Business Counter:


  • “Application for Dependant” duly filled
  • Two (2) passport photocopies of applicant
  • Two (2) passport photocopies of the sponsor including visa page
  • Two (2) passport photocopies of the spouse with Residence Visa page. If sponsor’s wife is not sponsored by husband, original and photocopy of Attested Marriage Certificate from the Foreign Affairs in UAE is required
  •  One (1) color photograph with white background, size 4.3cm x 5.5cm
  • House Maid Contract
  • The applicant’s passport must have a validity of at least six (6) months.

Stage 2: Residence Permit
Requirements
Within seven (7) days from the housemaid’s arrival into the UAE, the following documents are required for submission at GSO’s Business Counter:


  • Original passport
  • Original Entry Permit 
  • Two (2) passport photocopies of applicant
  • Two (2) entry permit photocopies
  • Two (2) passport photocopies of the sponsor including visa page
  • Two (2) passport photocopies of the spouse with Residence Visa page.
  • Seven (7) color photographs with white background, size 4.3cm x 5.5cm
  • A copy of the payment receipt.


In Country & Local Amendment:
The in-country applicant must pay a fee along with the Residence Visa package. If the applicant does not want to exit from the country, then an additional fee must be paid for the local amendment (Immigration transfer) in the beginning along with the in-country application.

  • Four (4) passport photocopies of the sponsor including visa page
  • Four (4) passport photocopies of the spouse with Residence Visa page. If sponsor’s wife is not sponsored by husband, original and photocopy of Attested Marriage Certificate from the Foreign Affairs in UAE is required
  •  Seven (7) color photograph with white background, size 4.3cm x 5.5cm
  • Original Visit Visa / Residency Visa Cancellation Paper (must have at least one month’s validity).
  • House Maid Contract
  • The applicant’s passport must have a validity of at least six (6) months.


Important!



    • The sponsored employee may approach GSO’s Business Counter after two (2) working days from documents submission (each stage) to sign the Immigration application form.
    • In case housemaid and the sponsor/spouse are of the same nationality, No blood relation letter from embassy or consulate is required.
    • Medical test appointment will be arranged by GSO after Residence Visa Stamping documents submission. If the sponsored housemaid is medically unfit, GSO will notify the Business Partner for immediate repatriation of the sponsored housemaid.
    • If the applicant chooses to approach Gov. Clinics for medical test without GSO interface, he/she must submit the Medical Fitness Certificate along with the Residence Visa Stamping documents.
    • A deposit of two thousands fifty (2050) is refundable after housemaid residency cancellation and exit of country.
    • The Housemaid Visa is valid for sixty (60) days commencing from date of issue.
    • The Housemaid Visa is renewable for an additional sixty (60) days upon expiry of the second sixty (60) days
    • The Employment Visa (Entry Permit) must be returned to GSO for cancellation if unused, along with a refund request.
    • The Residence Permit and the Work Permit are valid for one (1) year commencing from date of issue.
